Norfork Lake remains one of the Midwest's popular multi-species fisheries. It has developed into a trophy-class striped and hybrid striped bass fishery with stripers from 20- to 40-pounds available, and hybrids from 8- to 12-pounds occasionally found. The North Fork River below the dam is a renowned trout fishery.
