Conceived by legendary Japanese lure designer Kazuma Izumi, the Daiwa HMKL Minnow SC 137 features a long and slender body shape optimized for excellent flight distance and silent wobbling action. Designed with an oval-shaped, extremely thin, lightweight circuit board lip, the HMKL Minnow achieves an industry first for equipping a circuit board bill to an ABS jerkbait body.

Utilizing Daiwa’s internal Maglock silent magnet transfer system, a weight shifts towards the tail of minnow during the cast to greatly improve casting distance and returns to the center of the body when you begin your retrieve. Lures with a moving center of gravity often make lots of noise, but the internal weight on the HMKL minnow is fixed with a magnet to prevent artificial noise and make the retrieve completely silent.

Fitted with three treble hooks treated with a special fluorine coating, anglers will benefit from quick hook penetration, increased hook-up ratios, and fewer short strikes. Armed with SaqSas swivel and shaft technology, the Daiwa HMKL Minnow SC 137 is furnished with rotation hook hangers, so the hooks do not lock up under a load of hard-fighting fish.
